We are looking for a Software Application Developer with expertise in database management and no-code/low-code development platforms. This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working with modern tools to build scalable applications efficiently while integrating robust database solutions in the life sciences area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and deploy applications using no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Bubble, OutSystems, Appian, Mendix).
- Design and manage databases (SQL, NoSQL) for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services to extend application functionality.
- Optimize performance and scalability of applications by implementing best practices in database architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UX/UI designers, to develop user-friendly applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain applications to ensure smooth operation.
- Implement security best practices for data protection and application access.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in application development, database management, or no-code/low-code platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Understanding of security principles and data protection techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automation workflows and no/low code applications.
- Background in enterprise application development using low-code platforms.
- Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for API interactions and backend automation.
