Millicent ("Millie") Bentley

Millicent (‘Millie’) Bentley, Ph.D. joined AltaQ after more than 25 years successfully managing grants and contracts in the federal government. At the U.S. Department of Education, she led teams that scored at the top of the agency for their delivery of national-level technical assistance and customer service, as measured by the Grantee Satisfaction Survey. Her broad areas of expertise include fiscal management, human resources, professional learning, training, and knowledge and project management.
During her career at the U.S. Department of Education she also collaborated with other Federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Department of Justice. Dr. Bentley has also held leadership and instructional roles in higher education in the U.S., Japan, and Egypt. She holds a Ph.D. in Education Policy, Planning, and Administration from the University of Maryland, and an M.A. in Teaching from the American University in Cairo.
